I was looking to buy a Leica Magnus 1-6,3x24i after seeing them at the DSC show in Jan, but it seems like they have been discontinued and replaced with the Amplus line. The Amplus line seems to be around 50% of the price of the Magnus line...anyone looked closely at the Amplus line? Thoughts? The thing that really caught my eye with the Magnus is the extremely long eye relief (officially 3.7” but when actually looking through it you could get a full view at well over 5”. This will go on a pretty lightweight 416 Rem so usable eye relief is a big consideration.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I have not seen an Amplus. Have they actually shipped them to the dealers yet? I am also interested in them.
I have the Magnus 1-6.3x24. Which I think is a Very good scope.
