1" versus 30 mm tube
What advantages do you like in your 30 mm tube rifle scope?

I like the smaller size, volume, cost and weight advantages of the 1", but I do own some 30 mm scopes.

The only true advantage a 30mm tube has over a 1" in that it allows for more windage and elevation.

Quite true, but unfortunately some manufacturers apparently take no advantage of that. If the factory specs are to be believed, Leupold 30mm body scopes have no more adjustment than their 1" tubes. Why bother?
