I had a Weaver V-10 scope which I used for 7 or 8 years and hunted hard with in Idaho, Montana, and Oregon...drenching rains, howling blizzards, dust storms, you name it. All this on a llght weight, and therefore harder than usual recoiling .338 Win. Mag...we estimate just under 2000 rounds worth. I put it through about as much as you could ask of any rifle scope and then some.

Then about a month ago at the range, it suddenly wouldn't hold zero. I was pleased it had lasted as long as it did, considering the heavy, hard use it had seen. Sent it in to the Weaver folks for repairs. Today a package arrived from them containing a brand new 3x10 x40 Weaver scope, no charge, upgraded to a higher quality model yet! I certainly wasn't expecting that.

That's my idea of above and beyond service from any company, and just wanted to say so.
