homebrewerNikon M-223 BDC scope
Just had the pleasure of mounting one of these in the 3-12X side-focus model on an AR. Very,
very nice optic. The little circles and dots in the reticle are very sharp and easy to see. I was even able to easily see the vertical crosshair between the circles and dots. The BDC rotates less than one revolution-- about half a rev, actually. Very quick. Very slick.
Here's the best part: The mount is machined to have a 20 MOA slope to it to get your bullet out to 600 yards. Here's an even juicier piece of info: The distance between the rings is 80mm. Nowhere in the literature does Nikon tell you this. So, you can buy the mount separately and put your favorite one-inch scope in it-- and have 20 MOA on any gun that fits a Picatinny rail.
Go for it!
