Fal GruntZF 4 Scope
Just wondering what anyone could tell me about these scopes. I just picked one up on a rifle it is not supposed to be on. Metal is nice, a little mark from the scope mount, optics are clear but dull or faded.
I will probably just sell it, but not until after I take pictures of the set up!

GrenadierReproductions abound. If you have a genuine ZF4 then it is considered a collectible scope by some collectors of militaria.
If it is on a proper rifle then you might consider keeping the two together. If it is not on a G/K43 but on a standard hunting rifle then you might consider selling it or trading it for a more modern and suitable hunting scope. Of course, if you like the setup as is then go ahead and use it.
The scope will be marked with a three letter code that identifies the manufacturer. RLN would signify the manufacturer was Zeiss, a true rarity.
I just told you nearly everything I know about them but it is easy to find information about these scopes.
I am a fan of the ZF95 myself.

Fal GruntHere it is...
I'll put the scope up on gunbroker and see what I can get for it. Might keep the action and build a .375 H&H. I have no idea why...

Fal GruntWell with the damage from being mounted incorrectly I doubt it will bring 1/2 that as it is probably no longer "collectible".
Grenadier, thank you very much for the information.
