Yes, you have to declare a value on it..most undervalue them as you must declare them and give a value...This is pretty old information on my part, so you should check with the nearest postal service and U.S. Customs..If you bought it out of the US you declare it, if you brought it to a foreign and want to ship it back you need to get a form 4457 from customs..
