Schmidt & Bender rail mount scope

Okay, I just put a used Schmidt & Bender rail mount 4-12x42 scope on layaway.

Anyone familiar with the mounts for this scope and where to find them? So far the only thing I have found is for Blaser.

I have a Swarovski rail mount scope and with the Swaro mount set it will mount on any rifle with a Weaver type base. I'm hoping the S&B has a similar system.

If you have a pocketbook wide enough NECG (New England Custom Guns) have EAW Apel who, being in Europe, have a whole lot of ring options - with mounts - for these type of 'scopes.

I have a set of the S&B bases that I've never used. I bought them for a railed scope but then I changed my mind. Mine will be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than buying them from S&B.

Which gun would you like to combine with?

Nearly all european / German manufacturer of scope mounts have suitable mount for the S&B rail - just drop me an email and I could send You them anywhere you like...

Wonderful choice of optics. I have used Lee Labas whom does metal work in the states for H&H and Krieghoff. He did my 375 double and 300H&H. Also Ken Eversull does them for H&H and Purdey here and mounted one on a 300H&H Purdey of mine.

You need to use someone experienced in this type of set up it can be tricky if they have to manufacture the mounts for you.
