Ruger scope ring heights
Hi

I have ordered a KM77VT MKII, the varmint rifle with laminate stock. I have a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 scope that I want to mount but I am unsure what ring height I should order. I haven“t got the rifle yet so I cant try and measure my way to the correct height.

The scope is 56mm in outer diameter. Ruger have a chart with ring heights but im not sure if they specify inner or outer diameter of the scopes objective.

Have any one here the knowlege?

You will probably have to get the high rings to fit your scope bell.

I have a nightforce 5.5-22x56 on my ruger 243 AI, and I needed the high rings for this scope. barrel contour is the same as the gun you just ordered. It just barely clears. (fit 4 sheets of paper and that is about it).

If you want to adapt to a weaver style ramp, brownells has one that will fit to your gun. This would give you more options to get the scope closer to the barrel.

If the rifle is new in box it should include rings. Ruger sends the high rings with this particular rifle.
