As for envy, I just got done having breakfast near my 75 foot pool. I am 53 and don't have to drive to an office anymore. I can hunt as much as I want; I shoot three times a week. I can post on AR at any time of the day since I work for no one. Like most people, I am exactly where I planned to be at this point in my life. Frankly, I don't want to hunt 1/4 as much as any full time writer, let alone CB. I have said this before, but I will say it again: I started my business (now plural) to have enough money to go hunting whenever I wanted. Ironically, I find business to be just as fun, if not more so, than hunting - it is like a real life game of monopoly. Last month I was absolutely ready to come home before my hunt was over.

I just read the FTC rules and now I'm starting to get sad too.
But if I had a 75' pool and no boss I wouldn't be sad for long.

Yeah its not real flash when your PH is taking you places he shouldn't. And those National Parks aren't well sign posted. Only one or two main roads into a lot of places have sign posts. A guy that knows the country can use fire trails or other tracks and the client would be none the wiser.

That's an understatement.

Even Main NP's only really have one or two signs on the main road, any other road in often unlikely.

And if you walk in from outside the park,

Here is what I think happened - of course, I could be totally wrong.

Conrad hears Craig talk about upgrading his website.

Conrad offers to help in this matter, and Craig lets him do it. Without going into any details.

Conrad sets up that link for donations and what one gets for them.

Good thing someone found it and posted it here. Forcing Craig to kick the little twirp's rear end before he started offering used underwear.

For the life of me, how the hell can any person with an iota of common sense can offer what Conrad did.

Obviously what Rose did was CONSIDERABLY more significant than this little fund-raiser dust-up thing, but the point is that it sucks to watch somebody who you admire “fall from grace” with actions that are preventable. Craig is not the first to get into a tight spot due to social media, and will be far from the last. These things do blow over quickly once addressed.

DOJ is correct, AR is not the end-all, but I do believe the opinions here reflect a much broader audience...which I think reflects a growing sentiment that has been expressed numerous times above if one is observant. Sometimes the best feedback is that which we do not want to hear, but is in our own best interest.

What is most bestest about this thread is Mr. Conrad coming on here and "learning" us up about what a bad ass internet warrior he is. Then a page or two later crawling away with his tail between legs. That was priceless.

I did see that but it doesn't change a thing. In fact, the cameraman probably feels more of a personal and emotional attachment, rather than professional, just because of their interaction. Celebrities get all kinds of hangers-on and groupies, very often from among the crew.

While training yesterday I did four rounds of "shoot" boxing with a fairly unknown local MMA fighter. The shirt I was wearing was soaked in sweat both mine and his. And a little, 20cc or so, of my blood is soaked into the front of the shirt. I'm sure there is some spit and snot mixed in too.

As a bonus the shirt in it's current unwashed condition is GUARANTEED to gain "character" and "season" becoming increasingly man musky with time.

I'll start the bidding at $1,000 USD.. Any takers? I could really use the money right now.
