404 Dakota
HI,

I was just looking on Dakota's web site and saw something interesting.A 404 Dakota,I am just curious as to the differents between it and the 404 jeff, as far as a increase in fps.I have seen no reloading data for it,so if someone would inform me about it I would like to hear. It sounds like it would be a good round?, Thanks,Kev

The Dakota is some faster and that actually works against it in my book, you know the bullet integrity thing that's so all fired important to me that I harp on a lot...It gave up the wonderfull sloping case for the new modern sharp shoulder....It's not my cup of tea.

In my books there is not such animal as an improved 404 Jefferys that's an oxymoron.

The 404 Dakota is built on their shortened 404 case, just like their 330 and 375. So in effect, it is not an improved 404, just a short one!
