BaxterBWe have the PETA nuts here in Seattle throwing a hussy fit over the fish mongers at Pike PLace MArket because they throw the fish around... talk about people whose lives are so empty they have nothing better to do...

JohnCrightonApparently this guy knows about the meat-tree!
But then the damn Greenie tree-huggers got mad at the clear-cutting.

SIR MAUSERI have seriously thought about just going vegetarian. Something about that frail, pale look just appeals to me...... For now, I'll stick with hot-dogs. Three types of animal per mouthfull.
Thanks for posting, I haven't laughed so much in a long time.

I was in the "throne room" reading Time (each magazine has its appropriate place in this house), saw an article about "cow pooling". In this a couple of families get together and buy a young steer, rancher raises it, has it butchered for them when it is finished (normally these are folks interested in grass fed beef), each family fills the freezer. I guess I see this as a good thing, contrary to the fool quoted, at least little Johnny will know where his burger came from.

Use Enough GunHell, the so-called "cow pooling" (as the city folks are now referring to it) has been going on since time immemorial. I've done that myself for 35 years, only we usually do it with another relative and their family. Is this supposed to be something new according to the Time rag?

UEG,
I guess they think "cow pooling" is new. Like I said, at least it means there are a few of the "organic" set, who in general have never seen anything but sidewalks and streetlights, will learn a bit about agriculture.
