MARK H. YOUNGCouple beautiful buffalo from Lokisale
Our anti poaching team snapped these pics of a couple of once in a lifetime buffalo a couple of days ago. The first bull is not quite hard headed yet but will be a spectacular trophy in the future. Adam estimates him at 48". The second is a dream buffalo by anybodys standards and Adam thinks this one is about 47".
Not quite a shooter.
You can drool over this one.
We have some '09/'10 openings still available for a chance to chase a brute like this.

Damn, I might denounce elephant hunting for a shot at that second buff. Beautiful animal.

Sam TildenMark,
Any chance they might head south to Lobo in time for my July hunt? They certainly got my attention!

MARK H. YOUNGMike,
If you really want to slobber all over yourself go to our website and look at the on-line brochure. Most of those really big buffalo up to 50" were shot on 10 day buffalo hunts in the '07 season.
Sam,
We are keeping track of that buffalo just for you. The clients from Cody get special treatment. It says so in the very very fine print on the contract.

bwanamrmVery nice bulls, Mark, very nice!

Woodrow SMark, are handguns allowed for this type hunt? What is a rough cost for a 2010 -7 or 10 day hunt for this quality of buffalo? Is this a 2 buff area? Thanks.

ozhunterI must get myself to Massailand someday for one of those guys.

15 May 2008, 19:55
MARK H. YOUNGWoody,
1X1 10 DAYS (1) BUFFALO $21,900
1X1 10 DAYS (2) BUFFALO $24,900
Trophy fees:
1ST BUFF $2200
2ND BUFF $2500
The only additional costs are gratuities and hotels in Arusha as necessary.
The average in our Masailand areas of Lokisale and Loibor Serrit (Lobo) has been 41.5", 43", 43.5" for the three season we've had the concessions. In reality your chances are very good of taking an even bigger bull because most of the smaller bulls were killed for cat baits in a situation where the first mature bull seen was shot to get the baits up quickly.
No handguns I'm afraid.
If you'd like to talk about a hunt please feel free to contact me anytime.

https://www.facebook.com/pages...ures/627027353990716 Man, have those prices gone through the roof! The cancellation hunt I bought out of the same camp in 2002 with a prior operator for a 2 buff hunt, including trophy fees, was only $8,000.
This just reinforces, go now, at todays prices.

MARK H. YOUNGScott,
Those were the days! I can't even offer you a 7 day buff hunt in Zim for $8,000 let alone include trophy fees. Yeah! If you want to hunt you had better go now because it is not getting any cheaper.

WOW, $24,100 to shoot one buffalo (even for a brute like the ones pictured)

!! I had hoped to hunt Tanzania some day but at these prices I am relegated to the "poor mans buffalo" of Zimbabwe!

yellowstoneOh my Gawd!
Brings back great memories Mark. That poor little old thing I killed in Lokosali was only 42".
Let's see, $22,000 divided by 42". Hmmmmm
Now you guys quit whining about the price of gasoline.
WOW Mark
They are simply the best looking bulls one could hope to see well done Oh i wish I was the lucky hunter about to have a crack at them!
