Kimbers new DGR.
Was able to handle Kimbers new DGR in 375 H&H at the REMEF show in Reno yesterday. Looks like a Dakota with all the bells and whistles with a pricetag of 3189.00. Rep said next year will see a 416 rem.

Obviously, it looks like a very nice rifle. At $3200 srp, they're not going to sell too many of them. Now, at maybe $2000 or so, they'll sell like hotcakes.

The metal work looks good but they put to much into the wood. If they offered a model with a decent straight stock they could cut the price Im sure. It does hold four down in the magazine.

Hell, my RSM holds 4+1. But, I bought it way back when it was about 1300 cost. Now if they're going to grab hold of the market, they'll have to do something that will grab everybody's attention. Things like attention to detail, failure rates of less than 5% overall, standard features that aren't optional, and just an overall nice rifle for the money. I may be persuaded to buy one but it'll be some very hard pushing and a black-belt in arm twisting to do it.

I just got back from the show and handled the gun also.

Wood is nice.

It fit me PERFECT.

I want one.....

Mink and Wall Tents don't go together. Especially when you are sleeping in the Wall Tent.

Kimbers are NICE guns. I don't think the price is that out of line, when you look at Dakota and other fine gun makers.
