Woooo-Hoooo...trophies enroute
I AM dancing!! Got an Email from Sarah Hunter that yesterday afternoon she dropped one crate and attendant paperwork with Swift Harare enroute to Bulawayo for ocean shipment here. Crate containing one Cape Buffalo Skull and two Hides (halves).

Come June they should arrive in the US and I can start that fun part of the adventure.

Ocean freight ??? How much are you saving over air freight? Ive heard shipping by boat is a bit risky with the possibility of moisture getting to the capes.???

We ship million dollar aircraft and helicopters via ocean freight. Would not worry about a couple capes. That is just a rumor the Air Freight Brokers spread around.

The ocan trip is 5-7 days in most cases, and the containers are required to be sealed virus proof.
US health and Homeland Security regulations.
Boat is usually about 1/4th of air.

The quotes I received put air freight only 200-300 more than ocean.

I'm jealous. Frowner

My trophies from August are still in Namibia they tell me that everything is done except for my shoulder mounted Steenbok and that it will be done at the end of this month. (Of course, I was also told February, March and the 1st of May)

Mine aren't tanned or mounted, just in the salt and enroute.
