Sorry to hear this sad news.

Geoff Broom was one of the most renowned modern day professional hunters in all of Africa.

May he rest in peace.

I’m sorry to read of Geoff Broom ‘s passing. He was certainly at the forefront of Zimbabwe’s safari industry. May he rest in peace.

I talked with him at length at an SCI convention back in 2004. He was refreshingly honest and upfront about a lion hunt I was considering at the time. RIP.

I remember well speaking with him at DSC early 90’s. He had just taken one or 2, 100 pounders in Longido, TZ the previous year. I told Geoff those were the best elephants taken in TZ the past 20 years! His sharp witted response was “They recon 30”.

Sorry to hear this news. Never hunted with him, but read about Boddington’s adventures with him. Sounds like a great PH.
