ibexebiRe: Where's everyone staying in Reno?
Mrs. & I aren't attending this year, but whenever I go through Reno (convention or not) I always stay at the Airport Best Western, within walking distance if needed of the airport, it is not nearly as swanky as the big resort casino/hotels, but it is clean, nicely done, good resteraunt, decent bar (they sell whiskey in a glass

), friendly staff (they just smile good naturedly at drunk hunters/wives & PH's at 4 in the morning) & most important they run a shuttle bus every 30 minutes to the Hilton to catch the big bus to the convention. It is also only about an $11.00 taxi ride downtown to the strip. Price is about 1/3 of the Hilton, leaving me more walking around money to spend on priority items like double down bets at the blackjack tables!!

LHowellMy hunting buddy and I are staying at Harrahs, but only for Tues, Wed, Thurs. nights. Got a great rate from Yahoo Travel for Harrah's - about $26 per night for those weeknights

- weekends are more expensive.

GAHUNTERMy wife and I are going to the Reno show for the first time. We have not yet booked our rooms. Of course the Hilton would be nice, since all the evening activities take place there, but wouldn't some of the other hotels in the area be just as nice (and cheaper!)?
Just wondering where some of you guys stay in Reno.
