DSC Friday night get togetherDinner or just snacks and drinks....

Well time has come to get this organized for another year... There has been some suggestions for just time to socialize and have snacks instead... Now this way one can order what they want and just socialize...
We want the location within 5 miles or so of the hotel and or convention center...

Any of you Dallasites how about some help...
We have been at Pappadeaus's for three years and maybe try a new place...

Dougaboy you told me last year that you would give me a hand... or suggestions... Ray Matthews... you know the area...
We need an area for around 30 to 50 people...

There is a chicken wing place near Papadoux's.

The wings are good and the help is easy on the eues/

retreever - wife & I will be arriving on Thursday night & staying at Anatole Conv Center so we can meet wherever AR party/greet is agreed upon and to maybe help transport a few with us for a Friday night cocktail to whatever the AR etc is decided.

Throwing this out to help coord.

My friend, Brett, and I will be there, too. I have no idea of what's available, but I think the idea of a general meeting with food available as desired would be a good idea.

Well guys and gals here is a possibility.... Pappas BarB-Q

They can give us a section of the restaurant and they sell only beer and soda, however we can take our whiskey and use their setups..
They serve in a modified cafeteria line service.. Any and all who decide to eat after socializing can just walk up and go thru the line and pay for their meals...

Any body in Dallas ARites ever eat their?? Go check it out...

Frank, Joyce and I ate there Thur. night last year. The food was good and the prices are great. It is not fancy just your typical BBQ joint. If we take our own booze let us know and we will just get the Sat night booze a day early.

I would like to come to the get together on Friday night. Went to the one last year and it was nice to put faces on some of the post. Will it be at Pappas Bar B Q and what time?
