Weather in January Tanzania?
What is the weather like in January in northern Tanzania - that is, expected high temperatures and rain patterns?

What is the weather like in January in the Selous of middle and southern Tanzania - that is, expected high temperatures and rain patterns?

weather "patterns" no longer exist from what I can tell.

January should receive less rainfall then in early Dec and late March but there will definetely be precipitation. as for temp high's, hotter in the Selous then in Northern Tz as most of Selous is under 500 m asl whereas Northern Tz can be over 1500m asl. In most places you won't go much hotter than 33C (not sure what that is in F) but what will get you most, especially in the Selous is the humidity!! Probably 70%+ in Selous when it isn't raining.

A lot (Not all) of the Selous is innaccessible in Jan so make sure on that.
