Would anyone know he numbers and quality of Red Lechwe in the Caprivi area ?
Looking forward to some info.

It has ben ten years since I have hunted the Caprivi.

But we saw them in fair numbers on the Chobe River side.

We mainly saw them far to the east, around Impalila, near the confluence of the Chobe and the Zambezi.

I remember we saw one very good ram, but I was not hunting them. We were focused on elephant and buffalo. The lechwe were always in or near the water, of course.

Lovely animals.

Shot a nice Lechwe in the Kwando area in 2012. Was back there last fall in Kwando hunting Hippo and saw several nice Lechwe rams. Hunted with Jamy Traut
