gbangerGreat tusker! I would love to hunt Moz., the country of John Taylor, Wally Johnson, and Harry Manners. I just can't afford the investment in money, time, and heart to have the luck of crossing paths with such an elephant and having to leave that ivory with someone else.

shakariI'm actually very suprised no-one has been able to challenge the USF&WS service on the Mozambican ban. Their stated reason for the ban, is, to me at least, ridiculous and I see it as an infringement of personal freedoms of US citizens.
The truth is they instigated the ban after an incident that happened about 20 years ago..... hell, wars are forgiven in less than that length of time!

Oryxhunter1983It's pretty freaking ridiculus...the problem is simple, USFW has been infiltrated by greeny anti-hunters, and they are definitely out to get people and end hunting.

shakariI couldn't agree more with you. You're quite right but that doesn't mean it's not an infringement of personal freedoms and/or that it can't be challenged in court.
If there's any country in the world where an individual can stand up for his rights and win, it's the land of the free and the home of the brave!
As I see it, the USF&WS is unbelievably arrogant and really do need to learn they're basically civil servants which means they're servants of the people not rulers of the people!

Oryxhunter1983Shakari,
The only problem is this, they have some incredible power, and as you know, fighting groups like this takeS big $$$$... SO most people won't get into it unless they have a particular reason.
From what I've been told by professional in the business, once you get on their bad side, it's a lifetime of a ride.
