Nice SAVE buffalo

MARK H. YOUNGNice SAVE buffalo
I think the buffalo hunting on the Save Valley Conservancy just gets better as time goes on. Above is a picture of a beautiful 41" bull a Latvian client just took a few days ago with Terry Ander's Forever African Safaris on the Savuli area of the Save. I would not turn this buffalo down anywhere.

I agree..Aren't Blasers so dangerous they're meant to hurt the operator not kill the animal..makes this trophy even more remarkable!!!

It is a beaut of a bull though..
"A peculiar virtue in wildlife ethics is that the hunter ordinarily has no gallery to applaud or disapprove of his conduct. Whatever his acts, they are dictated by his own conscience, rather than by a mob of onlookers. It is difficult to exaggerate the importance of this fact."

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Have just gotten back from Savuli yesterday and met the Latvian family. Great Bunch.
I dropped Butch Begno in Chiredzi on his way to Malapati with Nixon and then went in to Savuli where I found Terry recording the last couple of hunts trophies. This 41 incher follows a 44 which followed a 42 Incher a week before. To cap it all we saw 3 bulls late in the evening that were all over 40......lovely stuff.

MARK H. YOUNGDuncan,
Terry told me that Savuli was very good for buff and these bulls bare that out. We are just now coming into the best time to hunt buffalo and PG there so we might see some more excellent bulls yet.

RichP470From what I understand the Save was dry this year and the buffalo came in early to Savuli due to the amount of grass. They usually do not come in until later in the year on a permanent basis, but were moving in from Sango and Mokore.

Well, then, we'll just put you in charge of carrying the camera and setting up the photo shoot.....on your dime, of course.
It's nonsense like your comment that ruins great photos for many of us.

Bwana NderoboNice Buff! I'm planning a DG/plains game hunt with 3-4 good friends, down the road a bit, and the Save seems to be the place. PG at reasonable daily rates for those that want it, and DG for the Buffalo freaks among us.
