The Honorary Wildlife Police Officers (HWPOs) is the volunteer unit of the Department of National Parks and Wildlife. Our HWPOs are volunteers from all walks of life who are passionate about Zambia's wildlife. We have actively participated in joint activities alongside our fellow Wildlife Police Officers since 1944 and assist with conservation education & public awareness, law enforcement & intelligence and, fundraising for joint conservation projects.

Most Zambian members of AR are part of this organization, also many safari operators and PH's will be Officers.

These chaps from the private sector do really good work both in and out of the field and are all volunteer wildlife police officers. A force to be reckoned with.

Any contribution would be money well spent.

You out to send this on to Jolouburn, Dr. Kak and co. asking them to consider contributing to this just and noble cause in the name of wildlife conservation instead of their continuous negative rants towards the hunting community.

I have not seen any comments from this lot regarding the recent tragic incident in the name of wildlife conservation.
This bunch of loonies pretend not to know that the FCF is engaged in both ventures, i.e. photographic & hunting.
