As I've been on the road a bit I may have missed it.
Anyone have any info on the current OOA tribulations, current as of just a few weeks ago? Arrests here in the states and in RSA?

Please someone provide Dan with facts, no hearsay please, before this goes into another OOA/SCI bashing thread. We have done that one a hundred times already I believe. Thanks.

OOA had a booth at RMEF, Reno.

I saw their booth here in Reno and knew I had heard a bunch of hubub here about them but didn't remember the details or facts. So sorry I can't help you out in that department, but I'm curious as well.

May be you can give us the real story then.

Until we hear otherwise, we will keep thinking that SCI ius sticking their heads in the sand to avoid doing anything about all the sgtories we have heard of OAF

Saeed, I am glad you said you will keep thinking bad about SCI as that is your right at least in the US, and those thoughts can be correct or incorret, after all they are just thoughts.

I am no babe in the woods here, and never have entered into the bashing if I recall correctly.

And, I am not fishing for detritus, just looking into some new and very current info passed my way at a show recently, and by appearances seems to be true.

I do not wish to rehash nor reopen old wounds, but this happened just a couple weeks ago and involves green hunts, a RSA vet, a RSA landowner, and a principle of the group being taken off a plane in cuffs here in the states, tennessee to be specific. And was told just yesterday that the investoigation has gone way beyond this event(s).

As to my curiousity, as we do not do green hunts I know of two prior clients who were interested and I know were looking at Out Of Africa for this. (My advice not with standing)

I think OOA is still booking hunts, seems I recall seeing one of their ads not too long ago. I did not take time to read it.

On page 35 of the latest issue Vol 22, of SAFARI TIMES Out Of Africa has a half page add, so they were booking hunts at least when this issue was printed!

What don't I understand here. Do you think OOA was at the RMEF Elk Camp in Reno(Mar 4,5,6&7) just have a booth and shoot the s--t

Out of Africa did have a booth at the elk convention this past weekend. I went by to shoot the s*&t several times. There was furniture in the booth but I never saw anyone in the booth anytime I walked by (about 6 times). So I couldn't tell you if anyone ever was there but I never saw them. I was going to ask them straight up what the issues were but never found anyone to talk to.
