surefire7Wow. Thanks for posting that Saeed. Quite graphic, but shows real life survival of the fittest. I'm happy that life and food procurement is much easier for us humans.
It appears that the Lions spine is pretty bony and his ribs are showing. I have the feeling that he should have tried to take a smaller prey animal, but he was probably desperate for food and was slowly dying of starvation. That is an amateur's observation. What do you think Saeed? You have much more experience than me.

SaeedYour guess is as good as mine my friend.
I have seen lions in almost as bad as this in the bush, and they never even bothered to look at us from very close range.
He could have been hurt by anything, even a snake.
But ultimately, the tables get turned sometimes.

Brian CanadaI recon that the buffalo cow weighs no more than 1,500 lbs. and the male loin is about 320 lbs.
That cow is tougher than boiled owl crap!
As Kipling said, "The female of the species is more deadly than the male."
Good post, Thanks.
That one has been around for a while. As I remember, it was reported that they both died days later. Most likely in a park somewhere.
