Seasons Greetings
Not being around for much longer as I will be in India for several weeks, I thought it was appropriate to get in an early seasons greetings to everyone at AR.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanks to everyone for the best wishes. I actually meant the thread as a general seasonal greetings comment!

I do hope to return with video footage and photos. Even though the bulk of the trip is a sightseeing trip in crowded India I am spending several days in a couple of National Parks including Kanha, described as "Kipling Country" and also Bandhagarh. I am of course very keen to photograph and film wild tiger and one of my faviourites wild Gaur bovines, but other game present will include: sambar, chital deer and hopefully barasingha deer, blackbuck, as well as peafowl, wild hen etc.

On this trip I will not be visiting Corbett National Park as it is the wrong time of the year, being winter. That will be one of probably several future trips.

Will be using a variety of transport methods, of course jeep, but also camels in the Western deserts, and also elephant back. My previous experience with elephant back safaris is the ride is often not condusive to steady photography.

Everyone have fun!

PS Hopefully one day we will see some hunting re-introduced to India and I will certainly keep my eyes and ears open for possibilities.
