She is doing great.
I am just back home today from Zim.
I will start posting the hunt results tomorrow.
Had a great hunt, lots of fun.
Did have a bit of drama at the airports this time.... Nothing major, just pain in the arse stuff.
I did get Medieval with SAA and Joberg Airport Security over ammo in the Tuffpak.
The personel involved were nice, they just did not know thier own printed rules....
More tomorrow.

KenscoSounded great. All the time I was trying to absorb this I was thinking, "what does all that cost?"
Two elephant bulls
Three elephant cows
Three buffalo bulls
One buffalo cow
Three giraffes
One lion
One hyena
One leopard
Small cats
Birds
Sounds like $60,000+ in trophy fees. I'm afraid I would have tears in my eyes every time I pulled the trigger after the first few bodies hit the ground.
I'm assuming later in the year is when you find the "additional" animals that can be added to a quota. Is that more or less true? I plan on going back to Zimbabawe in September 2008. I would be after buff and sable, but would not mind an add-on lion.

ozhunterAnother great SAFARI under the belt..

I hope to see some photo's. This would be very much appreciated..
What brand of 450/400 did you use and what velocity is it set at?

Unfortunatly I did not shoot all the animals I had on quota....

But that money can be used on my next trip.

My 450/400 3 1/4" is a London Sporting Park Ltd.
It was made by Webly and looks just like an Army & Navy double.
It has 26" bbls.
I receintly has JJ Perodeau fit a S&B 1.1-4 scope with claw mounts.
Fitting the scope was one of the best things I have done. It really enhances the versitility of the double.
My 400gr Woodleigh Softs chronoed 2167fps, avg. for both bbls with 71.5gr of RL 15 with a foam filler.

BigFiveJackTony,
Did the scope affect the POI and or regulation in any way?
