Benin? Anyone been lately
I was talking to Craig Boddington the other day about Benin, and we were both thinking it would be a neat place for a safari.

The thing is you can take a lot of the same species as Cameroon or CAR and not have the same cost or drama.

Anyone been lately?

I hunted in Benin in January of this year with Club Faune in the Porga Concession of Pendjari Park. See my report at : https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/6321043/m/793105118

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Hahaha!!! True, Benin is home to voodoo but if you hunt with Club Faune, their man Victor who collects you at the airport and whisks you through customs and on to your hunting concession, is well connected. His Dad is a Voodoo High Chief so everyone paid us deference on our trip! Superstitious lot those west Africans! I couldn't have been safer with a Navy Seal Team!!
