SSG shotgun loads??
I keep reading about ssg shotgun loads, what are they/, what is ssg? Confused

I think it is equivalent to '0' buckshot.

SSG - "Special Small game"
SG - "Small game"
LG - "Large Game"
I believe....the equvilents are more or less...

SSG = 0 buck
SG = 00Buck
LG = 000 buck

This what the 'old' references point to...but I stand to be corrected, I am not overly familiar with US buckshot nomenclature
