Its what the Greenies firmly believe in: "interacting with animals".
I would have felt no sympathy if things had gone ape-shit in that situation, especially considering there was a youngster in the group and might (I say might) have been an eye-opener for some.
I'm betting 10-1 there were numerous "brown rings" churning out "sixpences and half crowns" that moment.
