I need to buy some pad locks for my Pelican 1750 case, what make and model of lock will fit this case properly so that it will lay flat against the case when locked and will minimize the distance the case can be opened.

I would buy a 4 pack of medium size heavy duty Masterlock padlocks that are all keyed the same. That way if TSA or Customs has to cut the locks, you have another pair in the case that they can replace. I just looked at my set and they have a blue band around the base and have a stamp "no 3".

You should be the only one with keys. Do not use TSA locks on a gun case.
