Can anyone tell me why Djibouti has a relatively small focus on hunting. I recognize the climate is different than many of the more popular places in Africa, but based on the internet there seems to be very little emphasis on commercial hunting. I was based there for several years and encountered much wildlife in my journeys. Is there not enough to support more commercial hunting?

grandveneurI was by the French Army in Djibouti and have participated on many action's in the outback . That's a desert and the country is not safe!
Quite a deterrent -- to marry, a young man needs proof of killing a man, with the necessity to cut off/bring evidence along. That would keep me away...
