FOsteology270gr. Northfork
Planning a return trip for 2008. Main focus will be for leopard, but I'm also intrested in hunting for Zebra, Wildebeest, and possibly Sable.
Any experience with .375H&H loaded with the 270gr. Northfork for said game?
A friend suggested the Winchester Silvertips for the leopard.... Personally, I want to keep it simple. One load for all intended game.
Thoughts and advice appreciated.

jstevensI used the 270 NF on zebra, gemsbuck, hartebeest, jackals, etc. I recovered a couple, they retained about 93% of the weight with great penetration. They will expand immediately on the smaller game such as leopard, springbuck, etc. I loaded mine with RL15 to 2770 fps.

RIPFOsteology,
You got the right idea. The .375/270gr North Fork should be the ultimate leopard bullet. Just be sure you can live with the required patch job on the entrance and exit holes on that leopard come taxidermy time. You know that North Forks make larger than caliber entrance holes, and geysers of lung and blood will be coming back at you, so try not to get too close, unless you want a blood bath.
