While walking up a lush river bank, my PH points out some bumps in the green water ahead. It looked like small rocks ,he whispers Crocs. We crept up for a better view, Now we see one lying on a large gray boulder. The crocodile was about 9ft. head to tip of tail,it was yellowish green, very bright colored. The PH says we have no permit to shoot it,but we can mock shoot it. He puts up the sticks says it is about 60 yards, we are in the shade across the water from the sunbathing croc. I did look thru the scope but never took the safety off. I tryed to snap a photo after our fake shoot but the croc heard us and dove into the green water. This was a lot of fun,but it left me wanting to hunt a big one.They are such awesome creatures,Please show us your Croc Photos and tales.

I shot my Croc in Tanzania. We built a blind about 50 yards from the water and tied the hind quarters of a Zebra just out side the water, pieces of lung and intestines were thrown in the water, I and the PH got into the blind and the trackers drove off.

The PH told me to hold off for the big one and one shot to the head from my 416 got me my trophy. It was very exciting to see them feed and then start coming out of the water to feed on the bait, I did not think it would be as exciting as it turned out to be.

That is the million dollar question, I want a full body mount, my wife hates the thought of a 14 foot Croc in the house. It is too big for boots or gun cases, but it is too good a trophy not to be full body mounted.

It will take a year and a half to get him home and by that time I will find a way to break the news to my wife.

The only problem is that the water you see is the Chobe River and the real estate is Botswana . . .

Nice picture! I think you were supposed to go swimming and lure him across.

I think this is a shoot and drag proposition!

This is a 12'4' croc we hunted as a problem animal. It took two of the farmer's dogs in a 2 week period. I built a blind in the reeds, baited it with chicken and we shot it after it took about 1 hour before it came out of the water. This croc watched everything for about 1h30min before taking its head out of the water. It was a good kill and I have it on DVD now.

Aziz He is Huge great photo. Zingeli ,glad you got the dog killer, the alligators here in the states often get our dogs , usually Labradors. Thanks for posting All.

you could put him outside by the door. should work good to scare the burgulars off

How 'bout next to the swimming pool? Full body mount of course.

Get the full body mount and bolt it to the wall so that it does not use up floor space. Or keep it in your office at work.
