Received the disc's this afternoon. Will have them out in a couple days.

You know, earlier this year I waited to sign up to miss the heavy traffic, then all the 2005 dvd's went missing, so didn't get to see them. This year I signed up pronto and it appears that I will not get to see the 2006 DVD's either.

Since I will never get to Africa, this is the only way to be "part of the hunt." Most of the TV stuff is pretty set up/commercial and I don't get much out of it. I did get the 2003/4 sets and have copied them and will send on to a friend who really enjoyed seeing them the first time. Sorry for the w(H)ine - I'll go get some cheese!

Worried something like this would happen since I've yet to get a response from sending my contact info to Dr. B. I'll try PM'ing him.

This is why I originally dropped him. A lack or response.
He contacted me and asked to be put back and now he is not responding again.
Will everyone on this list try contacting him please.

Well it would appear that Dr. B has taken his game elsewhere.

Thanks to uplandhunter I now have a copy of the 2006 discs. I have made an additional copy and will start this list off again with oupa on Friday when I go to town.

I think it is time to BAN some people from being on any "lists!"

Too bad things aren't going smoothly. As great as it was to see them I doubt I'll sign up again IF someone is willing to try this again.

And with no reply either public or private I am still confused.

Having already viewed the DVD's and sent them on I'm tempted to stay out of this but after the experiences earlier, which cast doubt if any of us would see them, I'll offer some suggestions.

First off as for Frank - I noticed on another unrelated thread last night that he's suddenly and (seemingly) out of charicter gone missing. This alarms me and I can't help but wonder if business, illness or some other unavoidable circumstance is the reason. If so it would explain his lack of response here as well. His contribution to this effort - this year as in the past - has made it all possible.

That said, the ground rules for 2006 were clearly spelled out that we would be on our own this year to see this through. Each being responsible for contacting those above & below us on the list and keeping the videos moving. Frank has stepped in to keep it organized more than once but we did all agree. Easy for me to say since they've already passed this way but hey fellas, let's fulfil our agreed upon obligation and keep this afloat!

Don't mean to be harsh but this will only work if we make it work.
Keep the info posted at each stop.
If there is a problem preventing you from moving them on ASAP simply say so so those waiting at least know what's going on.
WHile I hope all is well with Frank, now that the DVD's ARE IN CIRCULATION we should be able to keep this moving with or without him!

I will PM OldCoyote and ask him to post up. I know the discs were delivered to him a week ago. If he's moved them on I will ask him to contact AndreC to urge him to keep us current as well.
We almost lost this once already, let's show our appreciation to Saeed and all those who've made it possible by being good sports about this!
