Need your comments please on Sumsare Safaris and Gerard Erasmus
I have been ask to go along on a hunt in Namibia with a father and son friends of mine.
I am not aware of this company or PH.

I hunted with him in Namibia. Where will you be hunting?

I understand he has quite a bow hunter following. He is a younger guy, definitely knows his hunting, and works hard. I had issues on the hunt because I did not ever receive my trophies, but it had nothing to do with Gerard.

I would hunt with him again. If you have the opportunity to negotiate with him, insist his sister joins your as the chef. She was a lovely lady and a terrific cook. You know it is something when 3 years later I still remember her cooking. She laid on a feast for breakfast, and was fun to have around.

She made some eland that was fantastic. I like Gerard, and he likely will give you a very good hunt.

404...thanks for the reply. Sorry to be so late but I have been on the road with a death in the family.
I do not know where we will hunt as of yet as I am invited to go with business partner and his son who have set this hunt up. I am sure I will learn all soon.
I will see if we can get the sister as great meals make any hunt.
