Keith AtchesonA year ago Today
A year ago today at the time I type this, I was flying in a MARS ambulance on our way to Milpark Hospital with my wife having been badly injured by a cape buffalo in Zim. A whole year gone by already. The one year plan has worked.
Feels great to have my beautiful wife. Feels great to be alive to.
But what REALLY feels good is that we return to Africa in two days. Going to Cameroon to hunt the jungle. My goal is a bongo and Niki's is of course, a forest buffalo. Right back in the saddle!
Good luck to all in the AR buffalo Drawing. Everyone better buy a Lotto ticket as well.
Mark N Holly, have a great trip in SA.
Well were off to make more memories and experiences.

mark65x55Keith,
You are right, what a difference a year makes. As I've told you before, we've shared some of the same experiences, just on different levels. This time last year we were dealing with LaRita having cancer, getting over her first operation and preparing for her second. A year sure does change things, it can make the grass a little greener, the sky a little bluer and the love of a good woman that much better. Good luck on your and Niki’s trip, enjoy.

Frans DiepstratenCan't believe that's already a year ago! I still remember Mark calling me with the shocking news like it was yesterday.
Have fun in Cameroon! Shoot straight and don't step on any snakes!

PaladinI'd really, really, really HATE to be the next buff that little lady runs across in the bush.

Hope all goes well.
