You can register for the give away !!!!!

U.S. residents can register for the 70 Years in Aviation drawings by visiting the South African Airways website at www.flysaa.com and selecting the United States from the select a country drop-down box. A special pop-up window will then invite visitors to register for the drawing.

How can they draw a winner every day between May 17th 2004 and June 17th 2004 when you could not register until July 1st 2004????

I would say that the winners are SAA friends and family
and were drawn on those dates.
Entering the drawing was to get names and addresses for
advertising.

They were probably running a similar 'contest' in other parts of the world at that time.

Well I entered. My response as of right now still said the old dates. It took me a while to enter and I had to call them. I got a very snotty operator. Hopefully their flight attendants are more friendly than that.

Don't count on it.

If I seem negative about SAA, it's because of the deterioration I've seen over the last 6 years. We may have to put up with "The New South Africa" when we are actually inside the country, but we have other choices on how to get there.

But it is nice of Kathi to post this information, I'll stop grumbling now.
