Fallow BuckWe were here early as we were given wild card entries to the hunting federations national shooting championships. It was supposed to be a two day event but yestaerday got rained off.
We went out this mng in the drizzle an hoped for he best to allow us to shoot one good afternoon as a worst case scenario. Deadline was set at eleven for a decision, and then moved to ten. At ten it was raining and targets were exploding on impact making scoring very difficult so he decision was taken to cAncel the event. A ten forty five the sun came out and it was glorious. It was too late to reverse the decision.
The mpumalanga committe put a huge amount of work into the organisation and it is very sad for hem that it didn't go through, but there is always next year.
It's worth noting that the mpumalanga champion shot a 49/50 in the pouring rains imply stating that it's alla bout keeping the right outlook on things.
Heading south tomorrow for the next hunts.
