DoglegTransfer of CITES trophies
I hope this isn't too simple, or been covered too many times.
When an aging hunter down-sizes dwellings in retirement, or just goes to the great hunting ground in the sky, what can be done with elephant ivory or rhino horn that was imported legally as hunting trophies? Supposing for a second that your kids don't want them, can you give/leave them to a museum, school or friend? I guess to a certain extent this question applies to any and all trophies, but is handing off a rhino horn different than say a kudu? Just wondering, it may make the difference between a green rhino and a shot one someday.

KathiDogleg,
I have no personal experience with this company, but they advertise in the Safari Times newspaper. This may be a good place to obtain the correct information.
