BOWHUNRPhotos from S.A. '04
My wife Lori and I returned from our safari on May 28th. It was her first and my second. We hunted with DuPreez safaris in the N.W. Province. The trophy quality was good and we were treated like royalty! Lori used an M70 in 7X57 with 160 gr. Grand slams, and I used a Sauer M90 in .300 WTHBY with 180 gr. Nosler Partitions. Here are a few photos.

I'll post a few more later.

Kyler HamannBowhunr,
Great photos, thanks for sharing.
It's amazing how similar the blesbuck and bontebuck appear.

I'm really impressed by the springbuck, gemsbuck and hartebeest in your other post.
Great hunting,
Kyler

cchunterGreat trophies Lori, I wish my wife would like to hunt also but it looks like an impossible mission......
And Kyler, Bontebock and Blesbock is very hard to see the difference between for an amateur.

BOWHUNR, You have given the same link for the first and the last photo.

JefferyDenmarkWOW
Great trip you had there thanks for posting.
I had a sauer 90 30.06 once before I converted to CRF

My friend has that rifle now so I can still enjoy it now and then.
I like the cape on the White Blesbuck

Cheers,
Andr

MRSBOWHUNRThank-you all for the nice comments. Not only was this my first safari, it was also my first hunt. I had a wonderful time, and I am "hooked" for life. My advice to other women would be, don't knock it until you have tried it. Kev, our average shots were about 150 yards. The longest shot of the trip was on my Blesbuck at 250 yards.
