He is gutsier than me for sure. There is no way you would get me to wiggle down a hole after a snake like that. I wonder if he was after the snake or the eggs.

SCREW THAT!!!!! Not in a bajillion years! snakes freak me out to begin with, but add confined spaces, dark, and no machine gun, I think not. I would have droppped in a granade and just made soup with what was left. :-)

Great pictures though. Doesn't seem like it was faked to me (snake looks real), but how the hell then did they get the camera in there?

Actually, if you study the pictures, you'll see that the guy with the burning twigs is not the same guy that's dragging the snake out. Notice the hair cut. I would presume that this snake catching photo sequence is composed of 2 differant episodes.

Just my humble opinion! And the pictures are awesome anyway! Not to mention that the guys going down must have balls of steel...

and so big they must have trouble walking!!! I'm not so much afraid of snakes as I am claustrophobic and that tunnel can go about its business and I'll go (away!) about mine. . .

whether this particular sequence is real or not, I have seen them doing this on video, where it was for real.

They guy used some wide leaves to protect his hand.
