DB BillWeight Of Black-Maned Lion In Carr's Post?
What do you think that big black-maned lion weighs and what is the average weight of lion taken in Zim or Tanzania?
Every lion trophy photo you see the lion looks a little "deflated" but this one looks as if he had as air-hose inserted before the photo.

Wendell ReichI don't have an educated guess on how much he weighs, but he is huge.
That is the prettiest Lion I have ever seen. He looks flawless. I can't see his face very well but besides one small scar on his left hind leg, I would say this boy has been kept out of reach of other Lions his entire life.
Don't want to step on any toes or start another flaming thread, I just calls it as I sees it.
But what the hell do I know, I have never shot a Lion.

<T/Jazz>I was going to say 500lb since it looks sooooo well fed. Some posters agree it hasn't missed any meals come time to eat. I have never seen a real lion in the wilderness like some of you, but I must admit, that I don't know if I could shoot it because it looks to stunning, magnificent, grand what ever. Now on the other hand, if it were coming my way for a quick lunch, yes I could drop the hammer on the sucker. I am sure my sympathy would clear up quick you think?

MacD37Welllllll, the only thing that would keep me from shooting a lion like this one is not haveing a rifle, and/or not haveing the permit! Otherwise he's mine!
