GOBHello Ivan,
Thanks for taking the time to drop that note. It was taken in Zambia with Fico Vidale. Fico is really a stand up guy to say the least. I must tell you that like a million other folks Christa and I find your Tracks show light years ahead of anything else out there. We have seen you often at SCI but there always is a huge following and you really never have the time to be bothered. Perhaps this year we shall locate you with a minute to spare.
I have one question which I have got to ask you. Jim Hall, the heavy set guy who won the lottery in NY State and was with you at least twice. He to me is one guy I think is cool. Obviously I do not have a clue how he is as a person but he won and he did it his way. I hear and read so many of the "pretty people" groan and moan about him. He may weigh too much and not be entering a hundred yard dash but he certainly shot well on the film and you appeared to be a Son taking his Father who only could dream of Africa out for the first time and enjoying it. I wish that I were able to take my Father to Africa but alas it is too late.
Old Jim has not been able to be with you all for some time. Is he OK or has he physical problems or blown the winnings as sadly so many of the instant millionairs seem to do?
Thanks for being there, with a following breeze
and a bit of luck you shall have many many more years of continued success.
Respectfully,
Glenn

GOBHello,
Thanks for the kind words. I especially enjoy your line on "shooting something" you are absolutely correct. Thanks also for your Service. I see the SCI has thrown the Vets under the bus this year with the excuse they could not find a place to hold the Veterans meeting. Will you be in Vegas?
Cheers,
Glenn

GOBThanks for the kind words. I really was just trying to learn how to place photos on the site and got things a bit messed up.
Are you in the area of Port Elizabeth by chance. We have very good friends who live in Port Alfred. It is a lovely part of the world.
I see a link to your web site, I shall give it a check.
Cheers,
Glenn

thanks glenn for the kind words ,
jim was 70- years old when he first hunted with me and we have had many many happy memories together - he took some great trophies and has built himself a magnificent collection , jim and i formed a firm friendship over those years and it lasts today - he still hunts , though not quite as adventurously or vigorously as in those first years and this year he will be hunting south africa for the smaller cats - having taken most of the big game he wants -
thanks again for the kind words ,.
