Bill/OregonInteresting phenomenon
Funny thing -- before I actually decided to start planning an African hunt instead of just dreaming about it, it seemed the hunting reports on the African report forum flowed in at such a fantastic rate that I could ignore them for weeks at a time and have gobs of reading material. Now it seems the reports are just crawling in, that almost no one is hunting, and that days and weeks pass between photo postings. Why in the hell is that?

WinkIt's: too hot, end of the season, some people have jobs, Halloween gets in the way, nobody writes anymore, etc.

Bill CSeasonal fluctuations...hunts now for the most part are end-of-season deals and such, and guys are hunting close to home for the fall. You are right, there was a flurry of great reports there for a while.
If anybody has a couple of pictures they want to share, but can't figure out how to do so, email them to me at
bill@wyodata.com and I'll be happy to post.
Although not Africa, I just did one on a mule deer hunt:

DennisHPBill/Oregon, I noticed the same thing, however, I beleive it's because you're so interested now you're reading them as fast as they appear and naturally you want more to read and can't wait for more to appear.

MARK H. YOUNGBill,
Book a safari, realize your dream and then post your own report. That may be the bottom line answer.

eyedocI agree with the others who say that it is just the time of the year when not as many people are going and as a result not as many are returning to post their stories.SAA discounts their airfare this time of year , resorts often do so as well. They don't call it the low season without reason.
