.500 A-Square - 570 grain Barnes TSXs and 570 grain Barnes Banded Solids.
.458 Lott - 450 grain North Fork softs and 450 grain Barnes Banded Solids.
.375 H&H Mag. 272 grain Hirtenberger ABC softs and 270 grain Barnes Banded Solids.
I have not worked up loads yet and need to do my usual testing.
Would you keep us posted on the load development, MR.?
Where did you buy the Hirtenberger softs from?
I have used 110-111 grains of RL-15 with the Barnes bullets in my .500, and those loads are right around 2,500 fps. I will use them if all goes well with the targeting. These loads have shot well in my rifle in the past, but will need testing with new lot nos., etc.
In the .458, I will use 87-88 grains of VV-N540 for right around 2,400 fps, again, assuming targeting goes okay.
The .375 H&H Hirtenbergers I will just use, since they are factory loads and give 2,700 fps in my rifle.

I laid away a few hundred rounds while the getting was good several years ago. The ABC bullets are just about the best softs I have ever seen or used.
I hope RUAG brings them back.
I will load up the 270 grain solids behind a case full of RL-15 for the same velocity.
We will see how it goes . . .
