Can you imagine growing up where you were able to drive out from your home for a weekend or a few days with a minimal camp and shoot ele, buff etc etc like we would now for a whitetail hunt? Can you hear me crying? Kenya when Joe was there was an ex-pat hunter's dream.

Joe's experience of the 60's and 70's was a far different one than mine although we are about the same age.

I was fortunate enough to have spent many an evening in the pub in my camp in Botswana, listening to the banter and wisdom of Harry Selby, Joe, Lionel Palmer, Tony Henly et al.
