I'd say, don't wait and go
It's worth every penny
I have a friend in Mozambique now, first time in Africa
I'm glad he listened to me
I know,it can be expensive, but it is affordable to most so don't worry about details and go
You will not be disappointed

When I'm ready to go, pack a bag of gunpowder up my ass and strike a fire to my pecker, until I squeal like a boar.

PS I have big boar on my floor...but it ain't dead, just scared to move...

Very true!

Going on safari is one of the highlights of the year.

Despite having been on safari so many times, I still look forward to it every year.

A few more weeks before we head out again.

Milan my friend, you're right - safari is perhaps the finest experience in all of the hunting world.

But I've been on exactly 36 safaris in 8 different countries, and now I'm really enjoying hunts elsewhere. But to all of you heading out soon - lots of luck!!!!

My time in Africa is something I think about daily. While I may never return, that time is etched in my memory banks forever. The smell of the smoke, the sounds of the night, all part of a world found no where else.

I return in 20 days to renew my spirit under the southern cross for a 6th time!

Every time I look around at the various pictures and mounts that came from Africa I feel the same excitement as the days we have been there. Without a doubt one of the finest choices in my life was to hunt there...as stated above DONT WAIT,figure it out and GO before it's too late.

I agree. You should experience African hunting, nothing like it. I went in the mid-sixties. I was never able to return, but the memories are there. Go if you can.

I leave on the 22nd for Tanz and the Selous. Third trip and I've loved each one. Every day in my office I look at my impala mount and can remember walking into the bush at dawn, faintly hearing the native women singing in the distance. Goose bumps.

How did your friend enjoy his safari? Was he successful killing a buffalo and leopard?

Where did you go in the mid 60's and what did you hunt, if you don't mind sharing?
