RIPSelous 2013 Video Collection: Memorable Moments
There are a dozen HD videos averaging over 2 hrs each, what? 26 hours?
First Video:
I am on the second Video now, and I cracked up when this cow finally realized how close she and the herd were getting to "The Crew": Priceless!
Not an "MS Moment."
Not an "Inner Circle" SCI opportunity, but the "Outer Circle" dream bull was near ...
It was a shootaway wet dream.

Thorns in fingers and hands, cuts in arms and legs, blisters in feets, happiness in me.

RIPJust before the 1-hour mark on the second video, Saeed demonstrates proper double rifle handling techniques ...
or at least how to hold one rifle in each hand and pretend to be ready for anything ...
... providing cover against a land-hippo charge, so that Alan may take a break to water the bushes.
Who says a double rifle cannot be regulated for both scope and iron sights use interchangeably?

SaeedThat cow was part of a large herd, and due to where we were, we could only see one or two at any given time, and not completely either.
Very thick bush, and quite exciting.
The second one of the hippo was by the river, where many hippos like to go sleep under the trees in the thickets.
I just wanted to show all that Mark Sullivan bullshit is just that - pure bullshit.
The hippo was a few yards from us, and I was holding both my rifle and Alan's.
There was no question of the hippo charging - even if he did, there was no danger whatsoever, as I know he will be dead long before he gets to us.
Roy is happily filming all this, armed with a Canon XF305 HD video camera, and he did not have any worries either.
A few minutes after we passed several hippos in that same location. One we actually surprised at about 7 yards.
He ran in one direction, and we ran in another direction.

RIPThese pics are just snapped from the video screen with a cheap digital camera, "stop action."
The video is of course much better ... Continuing with Part 2 of 12 ...
Nice COUNTRY ...
Bateleur fly-over COUNTRY ...
COUNTRY boys ...
And, leaving the COUNTRY ...
Even Walter can tell a Bateleur when he sees one.

Stop action on Walter's facial expressions ...

OK! Enough for today, gotta pace myself on this stuff, or I might go blind!!!
