Looking for information and references for Jaco Van Der Merwe in Namibia.

Any info you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Is this Jaco from African Twilight Safairis (ATS)??

I was very close to hunting plains game with ATS in 2011. The only reason I did not book with them was that, I decided to do my first elephant hunt instead of another plains game hunt.

Their placed looked great. Their main camp was over 100,000 acres. At that time I talked or exchanged emails with about 10 of their previous hunters. Everyone had only great things to say about Jaco and Mare. If I do another plains game hunt in Namibia it would probably be with ATS.

I hunted with him as did my family. I would go again. He has 110,000 acres of kudu, mountain zebra, red hartebeest and gemsbo. Great leopard if you can get a tag. He and his brother hunt the family ranch. He is an excellent hunter. Check my hunt report below on Nambia. After the lion hunt we hunted with him.

We hunted with him in 2007. Top notch outfit. You won't be disappointed if you book with him. Dogcat mentions the 110,000 acre ranch and the species found there. I would add great springbok to that list.

I mostly talked with his brother and will most likely be hunting with them next year.
