bwana cecilFraudulent e-mail allert
Just received an e-mail claiming to be from Craig Boddington with a sad story of losing his wallet in the Philippines & needing a quick loan of $1950.00.
I know some will have fun with this, but I wanted to give a heads up to those that might receive it as well.

BlankYep, just got it but my spam filter catalogued it as junk. Hovering over the address showed it to be bogus.

shakariJust got the same message so they've probably scanned AR for email addresses.

bwana cecilJust a couple of weeks ago I got "invited" to do a survey about AR.
It downloaded a virus onto my computer.
In no way do I believe Saeed is responsible for that kind of crap.

billrquimbyI got the same message from "Craig." It was sent to both of my email addresses, which Craig has. Some jerk apparently hacked his address book.
It looks like he is aware of it. I emailed him and received a message that said the intended recipient is not accepting emails.

SaeedGentlemen,
We never share email addresses with anyone.
And the only reason we ask for an email address is just in case you forget your log in details.

Peter AndersenI got the same email as well. I just assumed someone had gotten into his address book as the email I use for AR is different than the one I received the "urgent" message from.

505 gibbsYou guys call yourself friends, the email wasn't spam, Craig was being held at Victoria court cuneta in the Philippines cause his credit card got shut off before he could pay the bil, I western union'd him $1500, I should be in like Flynn now!!

prof242Craig is not the only one this has happened to. It has become a common scam, but with one of your relatives names on it. I have a cousin who got highly embarrassed because it used her name.

bwana cecilSince the only communication I have ever had with Craig is through PM here on AR, there is no reason to believe he would have my e-mail address on file.
